Selected Concept

The concept was selected from the image above, which was built by Sou Fujimoto and has the aspect of contrast and constructed. It has the aspect of contrast because there is a big difference in the size of the 2 beams and the other components of the structure. It also has the aspect of constructed because the structure has the beams, which has the similar look as a normal building, which has pillars and steel beams.

The basic of the structure is taken from the building above, which is Frank Lloyd Wright's building, which is called Falling Water. The structure has the aspect of complex and adaptable. The aspect complex comes from the irregular looking like planks which stick out from every sides of the building and the aspect adaptable comes from the original building, which the building itself is located in a forest.

The structure is positioned as such because it is located in a two way, so that the two front sides are more emphasized and so that the people can have a better look of the contrast between the three types of shadings that are located on every sides of the structures.
